Linking Microbusinesses in Frederick, MD

Business Link Frederick is a small business development and networking group. We meet at least monthly in-person at Dublin Roasters, and at virtual events. To ensure competitiveness without oversaturation, we limit membership and directory access to two representatives per like profession (no MLMs) within 25 miles of the Frederick City Center (21701). We are an LGBTQ+ professional business group, run by LGBTQ Biz Guru, that welcomes consistent allies. The cost of entry is active, respectful participation. See membership section for further details. 

Technically, we are part of Social Link Frederick. That is the "fun" side of things. A not-for-profit LGBTQ + Ally community group that organizes fun events for queer professionals around Frederick. Meeting most Wednesdays after work with a monthly Sunday Brunch. 

Sensible Limits 

To ensure that our group fosters an environment of true small business development through mutual support, networking opportunities that are engaging and informative, and continues to evolve into a evermore useful resource to everyone, we must place certain sensible limits. 
  • Operate within 25 miles of 21701 or do at least 51% business here. 
  • No more than 2 representatives per like profession, 1 per major brand. 
  • No MLMs, MLM adjacent, or Network Marketers permitted to access resources. 
  • Combination of in-person, virtual events + directory provides a more captive audience
